Week 100 Numbers 4:1-33 Overview
Having just finished counting and exchanging the Levites for the firstborn of Israel, Moses is commanded to count the Levites yet one more time and to assign them their specific duties concerning the dismantling and transporting of the Tabernacle of YHWH.  While the actual counting will be covered in the following portion, our study this week focuses upon the various tasks and responsibilities of everyone involved with the Tabernacle and its sacred furnishings.  The portion begins with the cohanim and the tribe of Kohath, followed by the Gershonites and, finally, the Merarites. Watch Torah Portion | Read Torah Portion

Torah Defense Force - Target Practice

Shalom, TDF troops!  Thank you once again for your time, determination, and participation in last month’s Situational Training Exercise.  For those who may just be lining up for duty or are unaware of what the “STE” is, here is a quick briefing.  Each month I put forth a hypothetical “Situation” in which a “member” of YHWH’S army is confronted with an opposing statement regarding obedience to the Torah.  More often than not, it is a scenario that you or someone you know has been or will be confronted with.
