Week 65 Exodus 27:20-28:43 Overview
In our previous portions we received instructions for building a portable dwelling place for the Holy One of Israel to abide with His people. This week the focus shifts from the structures, furnishings, veils, and coverings of the Tabernacle to the priests that will serve within it. The portion begins with a teaching concerning a continual offering for the Menorah and the establishment of Aaron and his sons as the cohanim or priests of Israel. The rest of the portion focuses predominantly upon the ornate “golden” vestments of Aaron, who will serve as the Cohen Gadol or High Priest. The final four verses instruct us as to the garments of the sons of Aaron. Click here to view this weeks written
